ANKARA, Turkey, June 7 - A Turkish paraglider's helmet camera captured his encounter with a territorial eagle that attacked and damaged his parachute while he was high over the ground. The video shows the paraglider taking off from a mountainous area in Antalya Province last week and being quickly joined by an eagle that started circling above his chute. The paraglider shouts at the eagle, but the bird of prey attacks and damages the fabric of the chute. The man is able to make a successful emergency landing and avoids injury. "Now I'm a paraglider who's survived an eagle attack!" the man says in Turkish after landing.
