July 19, 2016 - A large construction crane has toppled onto the Tappan Zee Bridge. A photo posted to Twitter shows the crane blocking traffic from both directions. It is unclear if anyone is trapped under the crane. The crane appears of have landed on the Rockland side of the bridge. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
