The Black Lives Matter virus has made it across the pond, with harrowing results.
A large gathering of people, mostly minorities, gathered in Hyde Park yesterday to party, but by dusk fell three people, including one police officer had been stabbed, bottles were launched and cries of "Black Lives Matter" and "fuck the police" erupted.
A nearby McDonalds in Marble Arch had also reportedly been looted .
This video was the moment police arrived to the park as concerns the music had become to loud. The moment the police vehicles arrived, dozens of glass bottles and debris were thrown at the police. Then everything devolved into chaos.
At about 7.30pm amid their confrontation with police, black youths shouted "Black Lives Matter" and "fuck the police" as the evening morphed into a civil rights protest. Riot police were sent to clear the area shortly thereafter.
