Tirana, Albania - The perpetrator of a tragic episode in the “American Hospital” in Tirana, Lefter Canaj was arrested by the police on Tuesday morning. Canaj was identified as the person that set on fire the dialysis pavilion causing the tragic death of two women. He will now be prosecuted for murder and arson.
This unprecedented episode occurred during Monday’s midday hours when Canaj threw gasoline over another patient, later identified as Dashamir Saraci, setting him on fire.
