23 year old Davie Dauzat was in custody on Friday, for the murder of his 21 year old wife Natasha.
Bellmead authorities say officers visited the couple on Thursday at their mobile home, after a concerned relative called police. But after finding no trouble, the officers left, after which they received a phone call two hours later saying Dauzat had killed his wife.
When Police returned to the scene they found that Natasha had been decapitated. Following a brief standoff which included the evacuation of other residents from the area, Officers were able to convince Dauzat to surrender. The couple’s two toddlers were at home, but unhurt.
Dauzat is currently being held on a murder charge, with bond set at $500,000.
