This is the tearful moment a young wrestler was forced to fake an injury so he could forfeit a fight against his Israeli opponent.
Filmed at the World Youth Championships in Hungary the international athlete was upset he wasn't going to be able to fight on.
In the sad exchange, filmed by Al Jezeera , Yarahmadi Peyman questions his coach as he approaches him and places ice on his arm.
"What are you putting on my hand" Mr Peyman says to this coach.
"The problem is if you wrestle against Israel your name will be crossed out from the team forever," his coach responds.
"I'm putting this ice on your hand so we can forfeit due to medical injury."
The young wrestler begins to weep, insisting he be allowed to fight: "Let me go on the mat, I'll beat him if you let me."
Iran does not recognise Israel as a state and it is common for the country's athletes not to compete against them at sporting events.
