Yulia Latynina had excrement thrown over her face and clothes by men who have accused her of “pouring crap” on Russia with her work.
In the short clip, which was later published online, the journalist was allegedly walking to work at Moscow's Ekho Moskvy radio station to host her weekly political commentary show. But as she stepped out of her parked car, two men wearing motorcycle helmets approached her and threw the bucket of poo. They both then fled on a motorbike.
After the attack Latynina walk about 3km to Ekho Moskvy’s office and after a bath and changing the cloth she hosts her live radio show as usual.
The police have launched an investigation of this act of hooliganism.
