Young America’s Foundation has obtained footage of 9/11 memorial posters being ripped down by a professor at Saddleback College, a publicly funded college in Mission Viejo, California. Every year, Young America’s Foundation helps the nation remember the terrorist attacks with the 9/11: Never Forget Project on hundreds of campuses across America.
Professor Margot Lovett, chair of Saddleback’s history department, ripped the posters down, crumpled them, and confronted the students who hung them, saying, they needed a “stamp†of approval from the school.
Not only has a Saddleback professor ripped down these posters (pictured below), but also the college tried to block the flag memorial that has become an iconic part of the 9/11: Never Forget Project.
Young America’s Foundation spokeswoman Emily Jashinsky said, “Saddleback, which is a public school, attempted to block the YAF chapter’s 9/11 memorial earlier this week. Despite these bureaucratic obstacles, the chapter woke up early Thursday morning to make sure their campus remembered the victims of the 9/11 attacks, placing one flag in the ground for each person killed.â€
She also pointed out this professor’s radical past, supporting statements that the U.S. engages in “genocidal levels of death and destruction.â€
