CCTV captures dramatic moment driver ploughed into car and sent it flying after running red light

CCTV footage has revealed the dramatic moment a driver ran a red light and ploughed into the side of another car - almost causing it to flip over. The crash occurred at a busy junction in Blackburn and sent one of the cars flying through the intersection. People who witnessed or heard the crash, on Wednesday at around 11.40pm, rushed out of their cars and nearby shops to check on the occupants to see if they were okay. Despite the force of the collision no one was seriously injured, Lancashire Police confirmed.
