The MSNBC “Morning Joe” crew interviewed Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook on Wednesday, but it wasn’t much of an interview.
In fact, Mook repeatedly criticized Republican nominee Donald Trump for not laying out specific plans for the American people to see, yet, for the entirety of the 10-minute interview, refused to answer any questions from host Joe Scarborough about Clinton’s own plans.
“If you’re asking new policy questions,” Mook told Scarborough, “you’re going to have to ask her.”
“I’m not being difficult at all,” Scarborough responded. “These are relatively basic questions.”
“Robby, aren’t you here representing her point of view?” added Willie Geist.
“I am indeed,” Mook replied with a grin.
“Well, you’ve been saying that Donald Trump won’t tell us what his policy is, but here you are not telling us what the policy is,” Geist pressed.
“But if Donald Trump doesn’t have a plan, like you’re saying he doesn’t — and I’ve been on the campaign trail with him — and you can’t lay out your plan, how can convince voters Hillary Clinton is the better choice?” chimed in Katy Tur.
“My first question, I think, was the best, about Branjelina,” Scarborough joked before ending the segment. “We could get an answer on that.”
