This alarming footage of a youth jumping from one house rooftop to another has sparked a police warning.
The video shows what appears to be a teenage boy leaping from the roof of a home to another while friends stand nearby.
Posts on social media online say the video was filmed on a new estate at West Park, Darlington, the Gazette reports .
The video was posted on the Darlington Police Facebook page earlier today.
A statement on the site said: “This alarming footage was captured at the new estate being built at West Park in Darlington.
“We’re sure you can see how easily this might have ended in tragedy.
"Young people so often think they’re invincible and don’t think through the potential consequences of their actions.”
It added: “Please talk about this video to your friends and family. Please keep safe.”
In the video, the other youths standing around can be heard laughing after the youth jumps and tiles can be heard falling to the ground.
