Typhoon Chaba has battered southern South Korea, leaving at least five people dead and another four missing. The violent storm caused severe flooding in the port of Busan, the country's second-largest city, and the industrial city of Ulsan. Dozens of flights in and out of Jeju Island have been cancelled. Tens of thousands of homes along the southern coast suffered power outages, and 2,500 schools have been closed.
