This is the shocking moment a woman was stabbed to death at the hands of her ex-husbands in a broad daylight attack in the middle of the street.
Mother-of-two Cigdem Koc, 35, was stabbed around 25 times by Mustafa Kara in Turkey's biggest city of Istanbul.
Ms Koc had divorced her former partner 10 years ago.
She was on her way to the post office at about 10am to send a parcel to her children who were staying with their father, her second husband, when Kara suddenly attacked her from behind. He grabbed her by her hair and repeatedly stabbed her with a knife as she fought to hold him off.
The horrific incident was caught on CCTV cameras in the Pendik district of the city.
As Ms Koc collapsed in the street, Kara ran away from the scene while passers-by tried to tend to his victim.Realising the seriousness of her condition, one man decided against calling an ambulance and drove her to hospital in his own car instead.
Doctors found that Ms Koc had suffered 25 stab wounds and took her straight into surgery, but she could not be saved and died in hospital.Meanwhile, passers-by and local shop-owners, who had chased after Kara, cornered him in a shop where he pulled out his knife to keep them at bay.
Police officers arrived just as it looked as if he was going to be lynched by the growing crowd and took him into custody. Kara faces murder charges and a long sentence behind bars if he is convicted.
The CCTV footage, from the security camera of a nearby workplace, went viral after being posted on video-sharing websites where users were shocked by the savage attack.
