Last night, at the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, a white-tie gala in New York, where presidential candidates often meet for the last time at one event before elections, Donald Trump made it a night to remember
Trump started out his roast of Clinton subtly, the crowd laughing and with him, but as he went on, his jokes became more pointed and reality based. He took shots at the media, at Hillary's inappropriate laughter during the last debates and then moved towards Wikileaks which became the most brutal of takedowns.
The New York elite, which featured The New York Times contingency booed loudly as Clinton squirmed!
The most brutal joke of the night?
“Hillary believes that it’s vital to deceive the people by having one public policy and a totally different policy in private,” he said to growing jeers. “Here she is tonight, in public, pretending not to hate Catholics.”
