On the morning of Nov. 18, a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle caused various damages on campus, UA Police Department officer said. The Farmington Police Department attempted to pull over Dakota King, who was driving reportedly stolen vehicle, UA Police Department officer said. The vehicle fled from the officers, causing a police pursuit. Washington County police officers also joined the chase, Capt. Gary Crain said. The pursuit then went into the south side of the UA campus where King caused damage by hitting cars in lot 46S and lot 56, Crain said.
The Gardens, a tailgating area on Razorback Rd, north of Lot 56, also experienced damage to the land, Crain said. King was caught by the police and was the only person to suffer injuries. He had to be taken to the hospital and appeared to be on some kind of drug, Crain said. King has no affiliation to the campus, Crain said. Students can now return to the damaged areas of the campus, Crain said.
