These rumors are showing up on social media how a small band of electoral college members are banding together to try to stop President-Elect Donald Trump from winning the Electoral College, a vote in late December. These two electors, one from the State of Washington Bret Chiafalo and the other from Colorado Michael Baca, both didn’t understand valid points made by host Tucker Carlson.
When Carlson spoke to military veteran Baca, he skillfully informed him that Trump won and with that, millions of Americans chose him through a voting process. If Baca’s idea goes forward, their choice would be beholden to just the members of the electoral college, not the will of the people.
Baca agreed with Carlson as that was a good point, then he got lost in the shuffle trying to make a point for why he was there.
