This video shows the French 13th Chasseurs Alpins battalion (13e BCA) of the 27th Mountain Infantry Brigade in a heavy firefight with Taliban in the Bedraou valley, Kapissa Province, eastern Afghanistan on March 5, 2010.
The firefight occured as the French soldiers were on their way back to their VABs (armoured personnel carrier vehicles) during an operation and then were suddenly ambushed by Taliban.
The video shows the French Chasseurs keeping the Taliban at bay while getting back to their vehicles to exfil and a overview of the firefight filmed from a overwatch position.
