An Iraqi soldier has been filmed using a makeshift dummy to trick an enemy sniper into firing shots.
At first the man uses a periscope to look over the top of the bunker he and his comrades are hiding behind, as they speak in Arabic to one another.
They then take the doll, which is just a metal tin covered in a camouflage-coloured sack, and hold it over the parapet.
The pair wait expectantly for the shot, and after a few seconds a huge clang is heard, forcing the soldier holding the doll to duck to the ground.
But the two still share a laugh and a joke as they hold the dummy up for a second time.
This time he begins cowering away before the next shot has been fired, which it promptly is a few seconds later and causes another loud clang.
