The Taiwanese government has destroyed a Lamborghini Murcielago, reportedly because its owner failed to provide the proper registration.
Car Buzz reports that the owner had the car confiscated by police two years ago for not having a registered license. He was initially issued a fine, but repeatedly appealed the court’s decision, infuriating officials in the process. Having rejected multiple appeals from him, the government simply sent the 632HP supercar to a scrap yard and ordered it to be destroyed — and destroyed it was.
The worst thing is, it’s not even satisfying to watch. It doesn’t get crushed into a nice little cube, like you might expect. No, it’s simply some dude in a smaller digger, repeatedly smashing and grabbing at the car’s bodywork.
