A semi-trailer truck slid off a slippery road, crashed into a toll booth and rammed into a black car before crashing to a shuddering halt on Wednesday morning in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The heavy semi-trailer truck, loaded with 31 tons of agricultural materials, was approaching the Manas Toll Gate in Manas county of Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang, where visibility was reduced to less than 300 meters.
Surveillance video from the local traffic police shows the truck crashing into road barriers and flipping over before hitting the toll booth.
The semi-trailer truck was severely damaged, with tires, parts and cargo strewn across the ground. And sections of the toll gate were destroyed. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.
