A tailor has confessed to the rape and attempted rape of hundreds of girls as young as seven in India.
Sunil Rastogi, 38, was arrested after CCTV of girls being abducted led police to him in the capital, New Delhi, in northern India.
The father-of-five then admitted targeting around 600 schoolgirls over a 14-year period, with most victims aged seven to ten.
His mode of offending was to tell passing girls that he had packages of clothes to give to their parents, convincing them to follow him to a secluded area to hand them over.
Senior police officer Omvir Singh said: 'The accused told us he used to target girls between seven and ten.
