Eugene Kontorovich, law professor at Northwestern, slammed the 9th Circuit Court’s decision against President Trump’s national security executive orders in an appearance on CNN Friday.
Kontorovich said the decision was “not just out of line. It’s absolutely unprecedented and extremely dangerous.”
“When you look at the legality of a law or an executive order, you look at what the thing actually does or says,” Kontorovich said, before criticizing the court for examining “the psychology of the president.”
Kontorovich also questioned the court’s argument that the administration didn’t prove an imminent threat, saying, “That’s extremely strange because the president usually doesn’t have to prove anything to establish immigration policy.”
