About 75 activists gathered at the Trump International Hotel Wednesday night to voice concerns about the relationship between Israel and the United States under Trump's administration. The demonstration coincided with Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu's meeting with President Donald Trump in D.C.
The action, sponsored by If Not Now Coalition spoke out against "the Jewish occupation of Palestine." Organizers say that Jewish issues are distinct from Israeli issues, and they called upon the American Jewish community to speak out against Israel’s treatment of Palestine.
The activist walked from Trump's Hotel at the Old Post Office on Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House, where they sang, chanted, and danced while shutting down the intersection of 15th and Pennsylvania.
