Wellford, SC, 22 February, 2017 - Officers say the First Citizens Bank was robbed in Lyman around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Officers were able to get a vehicle description out to other officers in the area immediately.
Someone spotted the burgundy 4-Runner in Wellford and called 911.
A Wellford Office then engaged in a short chase with the vehicle, that was being driven by Justin Bott.
In the video you can see Bott turn on Simmons Road and slam into a building.
Officers then detain Bott. Wellford Police say after being handcuffed Bott took off running, to which he was caught a short time later.
A Highway Patrol trooper was injured in chasing down Bott, but is expected to be okay.
