A man threatened to 'knock out' a woman after she confronted a couple who allegedly took photos of her at a bus stop.
Alexandra Clay, 21, was waiting for a bus in the Sydney suburb of Eastwood in April last year when she noticed an older woman with a 'professional-looking camera'.
'She wasn’t being discreet, she was about five metres away from me,' Ms Clay told Daily Mail Australia.
'It was obvious a photo was being taken in my direction.'
Angry over the invasion of privacy - Ms Clay confronted the woman and asked her to delete the photo, filming the exchange on her phone.
'In the video her [The older woman's] voice is so quiet, but at one point she asks me what I'm doing and I tell her I'm filming her.
'You can just make her out saying ''two can play at that game'' and she tries to use her camera again.'
Ms Clay - unwilling to have more photos of herself on the woman's camera - can be seen placing her hand gently on the camera.
That was when a man in a blue shirt sitting across the aisle becomes involved, rising from his seat and approaching the 21-year-old.
'Put that down or I'll knock you out,' he can be heard saying - balling up his fist and demanding that Ms Clay stop filming.
Eventually the bus driver intervened, telling the man to sit down. At that point Ms Clay decided to get off the bus at an earlier stop.
He [the driver] asked if I wanted him to close the doors or call the police but I didn't want to hold up the others that were on the bus.
'They never told me why they have the photos and they never deleted them,' Ms Clay said.
'I remember being particularly angry as it happened on my birthday - I couldn't believe it.'
And despite reporting the incident to police, Ms Clay was told there was nothing authorities could do.
