Police in California have arrested three suspects they believe carried out a series of robberies at gas stations, liquor stores, and markets in San Jose and Milpitas.
Most of the crimes took place towards the end of last year when the suspects would enter stores armed with a gun or large knife.
However, the robberies are distinctive in that the men wore masks over their faces which saw them being dubbed 'Geisha Dolls'.
The suspects would then threaten the employees working behind the counter and even pistol whip them.
Police believe three men could be responsible for a
total of 12 robberies since the middle of October.
Detectives have since interviewed a number of victims and witnesses including gathering physical evidence, and conducting surveillance.
According to NBC News police arrested a juvenile suspect in connection with a mini mart robbery and found evidence and the teenager's home.
