There's speculation that Chelsea Clinton could run for political office, possibly for a U.S. House or Senate seat. The rumors have been fueled in recent months by the former First Daughter's increased tweeting, as she has posted some green spinach pancakes and a lot of criticism of the new president. Chelsea Clinton: "Heartbreaking and necessary read. Please, please read this. Not #MAGA and not America First" - "Because only kids who live in certain states are vulnerable to certain diseases?! Because infections recognize state borders?!"
Clinton is seen as a possibility to run for Rep. Nita Lowey's (D-NY) House seat if the 79-year-old Democrat retires or go for the Senate if Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) runs for president in 2020. The "Outnumbered" hosts sounded off today, wondering when the Democrat Party might move past the Clintons. Meghan McCain: "What fresh hell am I living in where I am going to have to sit through Chelsea Clinton running for office?" -- "What do I have to do to make the Clintons stop running for office!?" Meghan McCain asked, wondering why Clinton didn't take to Twitter more during the campaign in support of her mother's run.
Melissa Francis doubted that the media would ask tough questions to Clinton if she ran and questioned whether she has the necessary charisma and political skills. Trish Regan said Bill Clinton had that charisma and ability to connect with voters, but Hillary did not have the same skills.
