Man saves girl hanging from sixth floor window

A quick-thinking county employee saved a six-year-old girl after she climbed out of a window from the sixth floor of a residential building in Wuxiang County in north China’s Shanxi Province on Sunday.

Guo Xiaoguang, an electrician from the county garden bureau, rushed to the scene with an aerial lift from his company and lifted himself to rescue the girl, who was hanging on to a pipe on the outside of the building, while residents held a quilt below to catch her in case she falls.
