Philadelphia, PA, 24 March, 2017 - On March 24, 2017, at 6:18 pm, 35th District Officers responded to a radio call for a person with a gun on the 5000 block of North 5th Street.
When the officers arrived they located the victim, a 30 year-old-male, lying on the highway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was transported to Einstein Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.
Surveillance video depict that while on the 500 block of West Ruscomb Street an unknown black male approached the victim armed with a handgun and began chasing him towards 5th Street.
The suspect then fled the area on foot and was last seen running east on the 400 Block of Ruscomb Street.
Suspect Description: Black male, 20-30 years-of-age, medium complected, light beard, medium build, wearing a dark colored knit ski hat, dark colored coat with a white logo on the left chest, camouflage pants, and dark colored boots.
