A small fender bender in a store parking lot in California turned into a violent brawl between two women that was captured on camera.
The incident, which happened in a Stockton thrift store parking lot earlier this week, led to one of the women involved being arrested.
The shocking footage begins by showing a young woman in a black sweatshirt, later identified as 25-year-old Vanessa Ortiz, throwing punches at the other woman who is wearing a green top.
Ortiz appears to grab the woman by her ponytail before throwing her on the ground.
As the woman in the green falls, her arm is bent in the wrong direction.
Ortiz was arrested by police after the incident for felony battery, and she also had a warrant out for her arrest.
She told KTXL that she did push the other woman, who is said to be 67 years old.
'I pushed her. And it was an accident,' Ortiz admitted from behind bars at the San Joaquin County Jail. 'And my apologies to her and her family, whatever.
'She's not your average old lady, she's like a spicy old lady. As you can see I have scratches on my face, she snatched my glasses off.'
A witness from the scene said the video of the fight does not show the entire incident that took place.
Bernardo Gonzalez claims that the older woman was the aggressor.
'The old lady was instigating cause the lady was like, 'I already exchanged info with you, what more do you want?' and the old lady started getting all in her face and got aggressive with her,' Gonzalez told KTXL.
Ortiz told KTXL that she couldn't walk away from the older woman after she slapped her hand and scratched her face.
The 25-year-old woman is ineligible for bail as her arrest warrant was for a failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge of loitering with intent of prostitution.
'I don't have any violent crimes on my record,' Ortiz said while breaking down in tears. 'Like I said, I have prostitution, but no one's denying nothing.'
Ortiz said that she was trying to re-build her life.
The name of the older woman involved in the incident has not been released by authorities. It's unclear if she suffered any serious injuries from the fight.
