A video has emerged that gives a perfect lesson on how not to remove a tree stump from the ground.
The pesky stump, that is located in the middle of a dusty road, was tied to the exhaust of a 4X4 which reversed and drove forward in order to dislodge the tree.
The first two attempts failed to make any impact, with the stump remaining in place and halting the car as it tried to drive off.
The short clip has been viewed over 150,000 times on YouTube since being uploaded last month.
The exact location of the calamitous attempt is unclear but the terrain and dress of the man in the video suggests the incident occurred in the Middle East.
