National Front guards 'attack three reporters before thugs spit at female journalist during presidential rally in France'
National Front security guards allegedly attacked three reporters before thugs spat at a female journalist during a rally in France yesterday.
National Front's François Fillon had gathered his troops in Nice's Palais Nikaia ahead of presidential elections later this month, reports marianne.net .
Footage, taken by Le Petit Journal, shows one of its reporters Louis Moran being picked up and shoved out the way by security after a confrontation.
The news site shared the video, alongside the caption: "When our reporter Louis Morin is attacked by members of the security of the meeting of Francois Fillon."
Journalist Hortense Gerard, who works for French channel BFMTV, also shared a photo of her jeans 'with spit on them,' alongside the message: "Been spat at during Fillion's meeting in Nice."
Just moments before she shared the image, Buzzfeed journalists David Perrotin and Paul Aveline said on Twitter that they were allegedly "molested" by the security service who demanded they "erase [their] images".
They claim the guards became aggressive with them for filming two anti-Fillon demonstrators being arrested after they shouted "make the money" during former prime minister Fillon's speech.\
Buzzfeed reports : "That's when three security guards grabbed Perrotin by the collar and by the arms, physically threatening him and demanding that he erase his video.
