A man carrying a flag of the United States broke through the security cordon and ran in front of the International Workers' Day (May Day) march in Havana, Monday, before being tackled to the floor and removed from the scene by security.
The march then got underway, with Cuban President Raul Castro leading tens of thousands of Cubans as they took to the streets of Havana.
The parade took place at Havana’s Revolution Square with citizens displaying banners depicting the Cuban head of state and their former leader, Fidel Castro.
