An Alabama woman was caught on tape taking her frustrations out on a silver sedan in the parking lot of a furniture store.
Barbara Emily Lowery, 24, was arrested by Cullman police on Monday after witnesses filmed her stomping out the windshield of a car.
Lowery was charged with disorderly conduct for now, but may face an additional charge of criminal mischief if the vehicle's owner chooses to press charges, Cullman Police Chief Kenny Culpepper told AL.com.
'I prayed about it first, and I slept on it, and I decided it wasn't a good idea,' Lowery told ABC 33/40. 'Then I saw a shovel.'
Lowery can be seen as the video begins walking away from the car with shovel in hand, as she's already made the first cracks in the windshield.
Apparently deciding she hadn't done enough damage, she gets rid of the shovel and marches back to the vehicle where she jumps up on its hood.
From there, she heads right back to the windshield and starts kicking at and stomping on the glass. She briefly hops on the car's roof and tries to stomp through the sun roof, but doesn't have much luck there.
Eventually, she goes back to the windshield and breaks through completely. The glass from the windshield falls into the car and leaves a gaping hole where cover from the elements once was.
At one point the irate woman lifted her shirt at another man taking video of her antics nearby.
Throughout this whole ordeal she appeared to be talking to someone on the phone.
While Lowery would not confirm her reasoning for the destruction, a source apparently close to her told ABC 33/40 that it was a 'love triangle gone wrong.'
The person said the victim wasn't cheating on Lowery and actually thought the two were 'just friends.'
'I’m not trying to give his personal business out like that,' said Lowery. 'I did not have to, just wanted to,' she added.
In addition to the windshield being completely destroyed, the dash was also damaged and Lowery allegedly took a Sharpie to the paint.
Lowery can no longer step foot on the property where the vandalism took place, as the business situated in the parking lot and instituted a trespassing warning.
'I already knew going into it that I would have to face some consequences, and you know it kind of sucks, but like I said I prayed about it and stuff, and I did it anyway,' Lowery said.
Police responded to the call about the incident at around 11.00am Central on Monday.
Lowery was booked at Cullman County Detention Center later that day.
