The argument in Birmingham City Centre saw an officer approach preacher Krissoni Henderson after a complainty was made by a member of the public.
The unnamed policeman was called to New Street in Birmingham city centre at around 5.30pm on July 4 following a 999 call from a woman who said she feared for her safety.
She reported she had been shouted and sworn at.
A video later surfaced of the West Midlands Police officer calmly trying to speak to Henderson in connection with the allegation.
The preacher seems highly agitated when the video starts and begins by shouting “Here is my witness, if you want to arrest me arrest me.”
He then turns to a woman who is acting as his witness to the unknown incident, who says the altercation began hwhen a woman came up the preacher.
But the preaches escalates the disagreement and begins shouting at the officer
At this point the preacher begins shouting in the face of the police officer: “Freedom of speech, we are not going to take your racism anymore. We’re not terrorists and we are not suicide bombers, throw your television in the bin.
“This is a free country and we can speak freely in public.”
The police officer then attempts to deescalate the situation by walking away with the preacher shouting after him, “yeah go and catch some rapists.”
The following day the preacher was arrested at his Birmingham home and charged with two public order offences.
Unemployed Henderson appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on July 6 where counts of using insulting, threatening words or behaviour and using racially aggravated insulting words or behaviour were put to him

As the street preacher continues to rant and rave in the background the officer turns to the crowd who have gathered to watch the argument and says:
“This man has the right to assembly. He can stand here and shout and alarm. He can shock and offend…If he commits a public order offence you will be arrested.”
The preacher then shouts that the officer is a racist as a gathered crowd begins to jeer the officer.
The preacher and a small group of his supporters begin to chant “Allahu Akbar” again as a crowd snaps photographs of the defiant Islamist.
