The moment a gang of armed thugs opened fire indiscriminately into a high street casino was captured in heart-stopping CCTV.
The hooded men smashed through a glass door before one pulled out a gun and fired randomly into Leyton Slots in Walthamstow, London in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Two cashiers dived for cover behind a roulette machine as a man shot twice into the 24-hour arcade. The gang then ran off together at about 1.30am.
A cashier, who did not wish to be named, told the Evening Standard: 'It's a terrifying thing but we're alright.
'There was a lot of glass to clear up. Police are investigating and we hope they catch them soon.'
The members of staff who were working at the time are believed not to have returned to work.
The cashier added: 'We don't know if the night shifter will come back any time soon.'
CCTV, posted on Facebook, showed two men stepping outside the arcade before returning.
Seconds later an armed gang attempted to open the glass door by pushing it instead of pulling and shattered the glass.
A man in tracksuit bottoms and a hooded top fumbled with a gun before firing into the casino.
No one was hurt during the shooting and detectives are now hunting the gang.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'We are aware of footage on social media. No arrests have been made and enquires continue.
'Detectives from the Trident and area Crime Command are investigating. Officers attended and confirmed no one was injured. Two shots were fired.'
Anyone who witnessed the shooting or has any information should contact detectives from Trident on 101.
