This astonishing footage shows the moment up to 70 men in suits were involved in a wedding brawl that left two victims in a critical condition in hospital.
An argument started inside the Royal Palace hotel in Fremont near San Francisco where up to 700 people were attending a wedding.
It then spilled out into the car park where men in formal wear traded blows outside the venue.
Horrifying footage showed one man being repeatedly kicked and punched by three men as he lay helpless on the pavement.
Manjeet Kaur, 25, the bride, said the fight started when a group of 'drunk' outsiders gatecrashed the wedding and were furious when asked to leave.
Ms Kaur, who lives in Fremont, California, told the East Bay Times: 'They were outsiders, a bunch of boys my husband and I did not know, who found out about the party and were harassing the girls, so somebody kicked them out.
'They were really pissed off for being asked to leave, so when the party was over, they jumped some of the guests outside and started fighting.'
Raj Singh, who was the wedding photographer, said the fight lasted for at least 20 minutes before police arrived.
He said he believed the fight started after a row on the dance floor.
Mr Singh said he arrived at the Royal Palace around 4pm on Saturday afternoon and set up his equipment as guests started to arrive.
He said that shortly after midnight, when around 200 guests were still at the event, the fight broke out.
'There was some kind of commotion inside the hall, some loud argument, and then people went outside and I saw 30 or 40 people fighting, beating each other up,' he recalled. 'They were mostly using their hands and feet, but some of them had metal objects in their hands and were hitting people with them.'
When police arrived most people fled, the photographer said.
Mr Singh identified the groom as Sukhchain Gill and said his family own a trucking company in Fremont.
Security guards had tried to break up the fighting but were overwhelmed, police said.
About 20 officers from Fremont and Newark eventually brought the situation under control.
The owner and manager of the Royal Palace told KPIX 5 a number of security guards who were supposed to be working that night had pulled out at the last minute.
However he said that even the standard contingent of six or seven security guards would have struggled to control the brawling group.
Investigators said two men remain in hospital in a critical condition with serious head injuries after the attack.
One of the victims, Daljit Gill, is in a coma from 'massive brain trauma'.
Amritpal Singh, 25, was charged with felony battery, accused of causing great bodily injury to Daljit Singh.
At his arraignment in a Fremont courtroom on Wednesday afternoon, his bail was set at $100,000, and he was ordered to return to court Friday to enter a plea.
Gurpreet Singh, 25, was initially arrested but was released Tuesday after the District Attorney's Office requested further investigation as to his role in the fight.
Both men had fled the scene in a white Maserati, police said.
