CCTV appears to show suicide bomber Salman Abedi with a newly bought backpack similar to the one that concealed the explosives he used to kill 22 people on Monday night.
The stills taken in Manchester's Arndale Centre allegedly show the 22-year-old shopping just three days before he blew himself up after an Ariana Grande concert.
The thin man, wearing trainers and a baseball cap, was caught on camera in the centre on Friday night, reports Sky News.
He was carrying a rucksack with a blue patch clearly visible on the back. It also appeared to have the price tag still dangling from it.
Photos of bloodstained fragments from the bomb used in Manchester Arena were leaked by US authorities today.
The pictures also show the remnants of the backpack bomb Abedi used to carry the explosives.
The suicide bomber appeared to have concealed a powerful explosive in a metal container.
The bomb was then carried into the arena inside a black vest or blue Karrimor backpack.
Sky News reported that Abedi withdrew £250 from a cash machine and then went shopping in the Arndale Centre at about 8pm on Friday evening.
Detectives are now reportedly trying to track his movements after leaving the shopping centre.
Abedi killed 22 people and injured at least 119 more when he detonated his bomb as children were piling out of the venue having watched American pop star Ariana Grande.
The mass-murderer had only just returned from a three-week trip to war-torn Libya before launching his horrifying attack, friends said.
The revelation came as his father, Ramadan, was arrested by masked gunmen in Tripoli this evening while recording TV interviews in the country.
rlier he had claimed his son seemed 'normal' when they last spoke five days ago and insisted: 'We don't believe in killing innocents.'
Abedi's younger brother Hashem has also been arrested in Tripoli, Libya, on suspicion of having links to the ISIS who claimed responsibility for Monday night's atrocity.
He was 'aware of all the details' of his brother's plans, a Libyan security force said.
Abedi's older brother Ismail, 23, was arrested yesterday in Chorlton, south Manchester.
He is still being quizzed by police, who are probing the family's links to a terror network.
