Shocked students got more than they bargained for on a trip to Thailand when a 12ft SNAKE slithered into their school bus.
The vehicle had pulled over in a park in Bangkok when the king cobra slid across the road and up under the bonnet of the vehicle.
Luckily, some eagle-eyed passersby saw the serpent making its way into the vehicle and alerted the driver, who got the children off the bus and called animal rescue workers.
But driver Khun Witthaya, 37, was more scared than the 12 international students he had as passengers and said he had never been so terrified in his life.
However, he had to be brave and help rescue workers free the snake.
Video filmed by a student shows Mr Witthaya carefully prising open the bonnet before quickly running a safe distance away.
Three experienced snake handlers then grab the dark black serpent using a rope halter to clamp its deadly jaws shut.
