A CYCLIST takes revenge on a “bullying” London bus driver – by switching off his ENGINE with the emergency cut-off button hidden under a flap at the back.
The rider was furious after the driver of the 159 double-decker beeped him twice before overtaking “too close” in Brixton, South London.
He caught up with the bus at a stop further up the road, where he opened up the flap covering the oil filler cap at the rear.
Under the flap is a red button that kills the engine – meant to be used in an emergency such as a crash or a fire.
Online posts suggest the bus driver would have had to reset the system before restarting the engine.
The anonymous cyclist’s helmet camera footage was posted to YouTube by an account called Cycle Witness.
It said: “Bus driver makes aggressive close pass, cyclist takes revenge. Or as they say in my town: Bully gets owned!”
