'Del Boy' was filmed seperating some men involved in the fight outside a London club, and at one point was even pushed before tripping to the ground.
The highly-ranked former British champion looks as though he was being pinned on the floor, although the 33 year-old confirmed to the media source this wasn't the case.
"The fight had started when we got there, and I went to break it up," Chisora told The Mail.
"We were going to go to the club, where our friends were waiting for us, but didn't because of everything going on outside.
"I slipped over, I wasn't being pinned down, and the bouncers didn't treat me badly at all," he added.
Chisora was scheduled to fight Robert Helenius in a rematch this summer before the fight was called off due to injury.
Attempts to secure a return with Dillian Whyte have seemingly fallen on deaf ears despite the pair sharing one of the most entertaining UK heavyweight contests of recent memory late last year.
As Whyte pursues a possible challenge against WBC title holder Deontay Wilder for 2017, Chisora is at somethig of a loose end unless talks can resume with either 'The Villain' or big Finn Helenius in the next few weeks.
