Perth woman attempts to steal bong down her pants

The bizarre incident at Cloud 9 Smoke Shop in Victoria Park, Perth was captured on CCTV and uploaded to Facebook on Tuesday.

'This lady thought she could get away with shoving a large glass water pipe down her pants and walking out,' Cloud 9 Smoke shop wrote in a post with the video.

'Your actions have consequences and unfortunately, your face is now on Facebook for stuffing a glass water pipe down your pants and passing it off as a third leg.'

The video shows a woman (on the right) rummaging through a shop cabinet, before another customer approaches the counter.

As the shopkeeper is busy with the customer the woman pulls out her jeans and slides the 'water pipe' in.

The bong is so big is doesn't fit in her pants and she has to cover the top with her shirt.

She then appears to look for something on the ground as the shopkeeper continues with the other customer.

After about thirty seconds she appears to change her mind.

The woman pulls the bong out of her pants and pops it on the counter, out of the shopkeeper's view, as if nothing had happened.

She then fixes her pants and walks out of the store without purchasing anything.

The shopkeeper appears to realise something was wrong when he saw the bong on the counter, but by then the woman had gone.
