The 'Lion of London Bridge' was apologised after he was filmed spitting on a black photographer and ranting about 'foreign c**s' who 'stink like 's**t'.
Roy Larner, 47, was branded a hero as he took on the three London Bridge attackers while he shouted 'F*** you, I'm Millwall' before being stabbed eight times.
Today, footage emerged of him shouting racist abuse at a group of anti-Capitalist protesters on the Elephant and Castle roundabout in February.
He is seen spitting, cursing and shouting before a photographer tried to head-butt him as he wrangled his two large dogs in the busy South London street.
After yelling expletives during the film he repeatedly shouts 'National Front' before shouting at a bus driver who tooted his horn at him for standing in the road.
Mr Larner has now apologised over the incident, claiming it 'wasn't intentional' and that he 'couldn't walk away' after a heated exchange with protesters.
'I have seen the video clip and I’m sorry to have caused any offence, it wasn’t intentional and something that took place months ago,' he told The Sun.
'I was out walking my dogs and got caught up in a march. The dogs got agitated as the marchers were coming over to them, things got heated and personal, a slanging match started and got abusive, bad language was used and they were taunting me.'
Mr Larner was left with life threatening wounds to his arm and neck after the London Bridge attack.
He bravely launched himself at Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba outside a pub in Borough Market.
Afterwards he admitted the terrorists gave him a 'good hiding' but added: 'They're not alive and I am'.
