Shocking footage captured of the event shows a policeman marauding down a street targeting tourists involved in a group sing along outside bars in holiday hotspot Santa Ponsa.
The video was shot by another British holiday-maker, who claimed the officer targeted people as young as 17 or 18 with his baton.
Daniel Davis, 34, Kendal, Cumbria, said he witnessed the attack at around 4am when he, himself, was leaving a bar in the area.
He said: “Kids were chanting in the street. All of a sudden a car was trying to get past and that’s when the police arrived.
