An 11-year-old boy was filmed being beaten to the floor and repeatedly punched in the head before the sickening video was shared on Facebook.
The unsettling clip shows the boy fighting with another older-looking youth who tackles him to the floor.
Pinning him to the ground, he then delivers repeated blows to his head as others crowd around the pair cheering.
After being shared on Facebook , the clip has been viewed more than 1,000 times.
The boy's mum, from Knowle in Bristol, described the attack and its subsequent spread over social media as “every parent’s worst nightmare”, reports the Bristol Post .
