WARNING: DISTRESSING FOOTAGE. The 31-year-old said she was "shaking violently with stomach pain, screaming, knowing something wasn’t right" after waking up from surgery
A mum was left "violently shaking" after she claims doctors wrongly removed her appendix instead of treating a gallbladder infection.
Charlene Jones, 31, claims she suffered "unreal pain" and was "screaming, knowing something wasn’t right" after waking up from the operation.
Distressing footage shows her sat in a hospital corridor, shaking and audibly in pain.
She said she was suffering from a gallbladder infection when doctors at University Hospital Coventry decided it was her appendix that was causing her pain - and removed it.
University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire has been asked for comment but said it was unable to discuss individual cases, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
Ms Jones, from Holbrooks, said she was left in pain because her gallbladder infection was left untreated.
