FROM THE SUN NEWS - SHOCKING footage has emerged of police in Florida using a taser, a baton and four sets of handcuffs to apprehend a man accused of “battering” a bartender and walking out of a bar without settling his $235 (£182) tab.
Video posted to social media shows the scene outside Surfer bar in Jacksonville Beach, where Christopher White was tasered three times and beaten with a baton before finally falling to the ground.
But the policeman wrote in his report that he used his taser because White resisted being handcuffed.
Jacksonville Beach police spokesman Sgt. Thomas Crumley said the department is doing a "standard" review into use of force.
