Donna Edwards, a former Democrat congresswoman and now MSNBC contributor, said that Heather Hayer was run over and killed at the Charlottesville counter-protest "on behalf of President Trump." She equated the neo-Nazi movement with Donald Trump's ideology and claimed, "David Duke said it himself..." But her intellectual dishonesty goes beyond the fact that Trump has never overtly declared any support for the white supremacist crowd (in fact, he has consistently denounced acts of hatred). One wonders why she's listening to David Duke on this at all. Duke is a disgruntled Republican and does not in any way speak for the White House.
