A wicked robber was jailed for life for holding up a shop - dressed in a pantomime witch fancy dress outfit.
Nicholas Overton, 39, donned a long black witch’s robe, blonde wig and pointed hat as a disguise when he walked into the store.
But a court heard how serial robber Overton also hid a machete in his black handbag as part of his fancy dress ruse.
The black-clad villain had travelled more than 150 miles to stage the bizarre hold-up - and hoped he would escape with cash.
