A knife-wielding teenager who stabbed a fellow diner inside a packed McDonald's has pleaded guilty after the attack was captured in dramatic mobile phone footage.
Aiden St Louis, 18, stamped on his victim as he lay on the ground in the restaurant in Gravesend, Kent, before plunging the knife at him.
The clip also showed furniture being hurled around and a baby highchair knocked over as St Louis, dressed in a grey hoodie, brandished the blade.
Other diners at the restaurant could be heard begging him to stop but the footage, which was shared on social media a week later, ended before the man was stabbed.
His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening but a wound to his arm required surgery at a London hospital to repair muscle.
St Louis, of Cliftonville, near Margate, admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon when he appeared in court via TV link with HMP Elmley in Kent.
The horrific attack occurred at 3.45am on Sunday, July 16, in the 24-hour town centre branch and was also captured on CCTV.
Maidstone Crown Court was told the victim has never supported the prosecution case.
